"When God Writes Your Love Story"...

you know while talking to you on skype, i showed you a book? yup! it is called "when God writes your love story..." its a very good book apparently. it is written in a form of a story, a true story of a couple whose love story is a solid example of a God designed love story. okay i have not read the entire book yet, just the first few chapters. However, i have picked out quite a few good pointers that we should remember and take note especially during these periods : )

Well, it started with the awakening call of leslie, the female. and this is what she sensed God speaking to her, " you continue to get your heart broken because you are holding the pen of your life and trying to write your own story. i am the Author of True Love. I am the Creator of romance. I know your heart's every desire. I want to script a beautiful tale just for you, but first you must give me the pen to Me. You must let Me become the center of your existence. You must let Me have total control of your love life, and every other area of your life as well..."

well, i have personally seen how God has blessed me mightily, but honestly, i do not like the idea of letting God totally take control of my life. like seriously, it aint easy and you can say that it aint human like as well. i guess we are all creatures that like to do things our own way, which we all know is foolish. However, it is really easier said than done. Even i am facing trouble with this. However, what choice do we have? Do we want the God given love story?!

The authors describe God's scripted love story as something you would be addicted to. Once you experience God's love story, you wont want the world dating and etc anymore. You have taste the sweetest fruit! Many of us dream, especially you and i (cause we are romantic people), of hollywood romance and the white knight riding the white horse etc. However, i myself have seen the ugliness and imperfect love story of so many people's relationships till i cant believe this kind of love exist. there are always horrible quarrels, break ups, divorce etc. However, the authors of this book reassured me that Yes! this love does exist. And it exist only if God is the AUTHOR OF OUR LOVE STORY.

Psalms 18:30 says, " As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him..."

I believe that God always wants the best for us (Jer 29:11) And when our lives is in God's hands, He wont destroy it but instead, make us prosper. When we trust Him, He protects us from hurts!

So as you know, just now on skype i was freaking out and everything. Seriously, i am just too afraid of losing the one i love. However, isnt it ironical if i ask God to take control of my life yet i still steer the boat to my direction?! I dont know. Time and time again i wonder whether am i really letting go or am i making the choices and asking God to bless them. Ya, and you know i was talking to our female pastor and my mum. I just felt like crap. i dont know what to do! everything leads to something bad (according to what i think) and then i opened this book and i read this...

"Based on Matt 5:3-5, you are blessed when you are out of options and all you can do is lean on God. Because when you realise your need for God, it is only then that you tap into His immeasurable greatness and goodness. You are blessed when you have been stripped of that which is most precious to you. Only then can you be tenderly embraceed by the One most precious to you."

anyway, thats all i read for now, and i am sooo going to continue reading. i bet right now you are talking about things we discussed earlier with someone and i pray the best for you. Do fill me in!

Thanks Janice for today's talk, i am not so confused now, but i think i really have to pray to God. I have a few more days before the weekend. I really want the relationship to work out, and i know the only way it can is that God has to be in the picture. He has to lead us on and not we drag Him as a blessing ornament. God is God! He is to be in control with the authority.

May God just speak to us...
